Ivory Campbell is a London-based artist working within the mediums of filmmaking, photography, and words. Her approach to storytelling focuses mainly on exploring dreamlike qualities found in the everyday, combined with natural scenery and elements. Having developed a photographic language that combines both composed and spontaneous documentary work, Ivory strives to hold truth and diversity at the heart of every image.
Ivory heavily roots her practice in art and culture, working with brands, artists, and communities across the world to tell their stories. A main focus of hers is travelling to under-represented destinations and creating articles along with photographic essays; she calls these works ‘visual diary’s’. Ivory’s first visual diary 'The Madagascar Diaries' following residents of the southeast African country’s capitals, coastal towns, and fishing villages was featured in i-D, also appearing in i-D's '2023's Best Photo Stories: Intimacy & Kinship'. Other notable features include work with Fred Perry, Nataal and Teeth Magazine. Ivory is now a member of Thursday’s Child, and Kintzing as part of their artist roster.
In addition to my editorial and commissioned work, I’ve been fortunate to exhibit in two consecutive group shows with Primary Paper in London—first in 2024, and again in May 2025. These exhibitions have been a meaningful way to further explore my photographic work in a gallery context.
Available for worldwide commissions, projects and other inquiries.
